Carpe Diem, Baby

There is so much life to live.

So much.

It's easy to understand how people get content so quickly.

They feel safe and secure and BAMMM!! They're in a comfort zone.

I know how easy it is to 'settle down' and become content.

While most people DO WANT to get out there and enjoy life, it's usually the execution that slows them down.

"I don't have enough money. I don't have time. I'm too old. What about my kids?"

Here's my response to all of you making excuses:

Take a risk. Try something new. Something different. It doesn't cost a thing (well, depending on the
type of risk.)

Cease the moment, cease the day :)

Your Purpose In Life

There is a plan and purpose for all our lives.

We all have a destiny.

Sometimes it takes a day, a week, or even months and years to figure out what your purpose is.

I have learned that God has a funny way of showing you where you need to be and what you need to be doing.

When things don't go our way,

We question Life. We question God. We question the Universe.

Just remember things may not always go our way but there is certainly a reason.

Whatever happens in your life is part of a bigger picture.

Even those mistakes which you think are stupid.

Remember...

Travel, Young Person

I don't understand why people say they're gonna spend their
retirement years traveling.
I've been given this advice many times.

Been told to 'get my career established first' and 'build a

nest egg.'

Why would anyone wanna travel when they're old, can't stay

out later than 9pm and have medical conditions which will

prevent them from doing stuff!?

I wanna travel now, while I have the youthful energy to

dance as much as I want,

ride as many roller coasters and elephants as I want

and
stay out until 4am partying with the locals.

I've been on many tours in the past and there's always that

one retired couple in the group that look at you and tell you

they wish they had the opportunity to travel when they were

younger.

Having a solid career and saving for retirement are great

and wise but not as great as

enjoying the journey.
